The 2009 Class Gift Campaign is your first chance to give back to your alma mater and make an impact as a graduating class. Although gifts of any size are welcome, we challenge all graduating students to make a gift of $20.09 or more to the campaign. 

How will my gift be used?
The best part about donating to the 2009 Class Gift Campaign is that you decide how you would like your gift to be used.  You can donate to your college, athletics, or to the university to be used where the need is the greatest. In the past, donations to the university have been used to establish new programs, improve facilities, fund research and to provide financial aid opportunities to deserving students.

Make a Leadership Gift
As a graduating senior, you have the opportunity to join the Radford Society, a new recognition society that honors the most generous contributors to Radford University. Normally, membership in this society requires a gift of $1,000, but graduating seniors can join with a gift of $100. Radford Society members will receive invitations to exclusive university events, including a private dinner in honor of Radford Society members hosted by President Kyle and RU’s Board of Visitors. 

Make a Leadership Gift pledge and pay over several months. Leadership gifts of $100 must be paid in full by June 30, 2009 to receive membership into the 2009 Radford Society.

Why should I give?
▪ Every gift matters – whether it is $10, $20.09, or $100

▪ Each senior gift increases our giving percentage, a major factor in determining the university’s national ranking by U.S. News & World Report

▪ By taking part in giving, you show that you value what RU has contributed to your life and that you are willing to invest in its continued success

▪ The cost for each individual student to attend Radford is not completely covered by tuition – the Radford Fund helps make up the difference

▪ Gifts help provide the co-curricular services, facilities and amenities students enjoy

▪ Participation is the key to the success of the campaign
